Obituary of Michele A. Guirand

Michele Guirand, age 43, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Francky Guirand, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Thomassain, Haiti on March 20, 1971, she was the daughter of Mimose Maignan-Davilmar of Bridgeport and the late Dumel Davilmar. Michele was a very lively, outgoing person and great friend to many who would do anything for others. Always the life of the party, she was strong willed and young at heart. She had a strong faith and was a devoted member of Refuge Temple Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her loving husband of 25 years, Francky, and her mother, survivors include three cherished daughters, Felisha Guirand, Idalia Dominique Guirand and Kiandra Guirand, all of Bridgeport, two brothers, Manfred Davilmar of Haiti, Dickenson Theodule of St. Martin, a sister, Claudelle Davilmar of Florida, her mother and father-in-law, Rosette and Dominique Guirand of Stamford, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. meeting directly in Refuge Temple Church of God, 3050 Main St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
