Obituary of Louise C. Gulas

Resident of Newtown Louise Caiola (Bee Bee / Bam Bam) Gulas age 92, of Newtown and formerly of Dayton Rd. Bridgeport, died peacefully on Sunday May 6, 2007 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on June 29, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Fortuna Caliano Caiola. She was a former employee of Remington Arms Co. in Bridgeport before her retirement in 1978. Louise enjoyed crocheting hand towels, watching her daily soaps and NASCAR racing. She was predeceased by, three brothers, Tony, John and Joseph Caiola and a sister, Sue Sherwood. Survivors include her two loving children, Marie McNellis and her husband Francis of Newtown, Michael Gulas and his wife Rosemarie of Bradenton, FL, a, brother, Samuel Caiola of Bridgeport, two sisters, Lucy Yanosy of Bridgeport, Mary Tompkins of Hamden, five cherished grandchildren Darlene McNellis of Newtown, Francis McNellis, Jr. of Monroe, Michele Berarducci-Revere and her husband Ronnie of Newtown, Jeneen Thorp and her husband Michael and Brian Gulas and his wife Chrysta all of Bradenton, Fl., nine adoring great grandchildren, Francis III, Joseph and Leah McNellis, Dominic, Marie and Anthony Berarducci, Ryan Thorp, Alexis and Ashley Gulas, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Council Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 8 p.m.
