Al was a wonderful fellow that I knew through the engine hobby. I always looked forward to visiting with him at the shows and seeing his engines. He will be greatly missed at the shows, and we lose so much knowledge with his passing.

To Al's loved ones, we extend our most sincere sympathy...Al was a great man, a compassionate man and he was an inspirational speaker...I will never forget meeting him for the first time at the "Ax the Tax" rally in Hartford, where he was a guest speaker and I was a volunteer...His passionate speach resonated through every core in me and everyone in the crowd...From that moment on, he like his friend Tony R. where my politicians (friends) of choice and that never ended...I was honored to take an active role in his last run for political office and it broke my heart he lost...He deserved to win!!!! ...RIP Dear Al, you were one of a kind...Always your followers,admirers and friends...
