Victor George Kotiadis, age 89, of New Holland PA, formerly of Trumbull, CT, Ossining, NY, Yonkers, NY and Riverdale, NY, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was married 46 years on September 3 to Jeanne T. Habbick Kotiadis. Born in New York City, NY on September 3, 1925, he was a son of the late George and Mary Pirounakis Kotiadis. Mr. Kotiadis was a longtime resident of Connecticut before moving to Pennsylvania in 2004. Victor enlisted and was an airplane mechanic in the Air Force during World War II. Before his retirement he was a supervisor in the Motor Vehicle and Equipment Repair Division at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. He had also worked as an auto mechanic and a financial investor. Victor did lobbying work in Albany and the New York State Capital speaking to State Senators and Assemblymen against the decriminalization of marijuana. His research material was obtained at “The Academy of Medicine” 103rd St. and 5th Ave., New York City.
