Irving was so kind to my parents. He was much more than their handyman. He brought peaches and apples and helped my mother sell my father's car after he died. He was a truly honorable and giving man.

To Irving's family: He touched the lives of others in heartfelt, generous and humorous ways.I am grateful for the fond remembrances of him from my childhood and 45 intervening years. He was our painter, carpenter, fix-it guy, but mostly, friend. My dad knew him well. I hope your loss is eased in knowing that my words are assuredly echoed by many others. May he rest in peace. May your family find comfort at this time. Wishing you well, Barbara Searles, Mill Valley, CA.

I would like to send my deepest sympathies to Walt and Jason and families. While it has been many years since I have seen Uncle Irving, I have many fond memories of him and Aunt Edith. I remember many summers spent in Connecticut with them and often look back on those great times. Our sincere condolences. Ashton and Caryl Fletcher

My deepest sympathies to Walt and Jason and their families. I have many, many fond memories of summers spent with Uncle Irv and Aunt Edith. I always enjoyed Uncle Irving's dry sense of humor; and I deeply admired his skill as a builder. He was a good man and was always kind to me and many others.
