Obituary of Armando Joseph Guevara

Armando Joseph Guevara, age 78, of Shelton, a retired crew chief flight mechanic for Sikorsky with 38 years of service, died on Friday, September 30, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Ybor City, Florida on June 13, 1927, he was a son of the late Julio and Margaret Rodriguez Guevara and was a U. S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 56 years, Lea DeFelice Guevara, two loving children, Raymond Guevara of Middletown and Margaret Dzwonchyk of Waterbury, two cherished grandchildren, Richard and Kevin and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
