CATHY AND GIRLS,,,,YOU PROBABLY DON'T REMEMBER ME, BUT I WORKED FOR FRED OVER 40 YEARS AGO AT SIKORSKY.I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. PLEASE EXCEPT MY CONDILENCES. HE WAS A WONDERFUL GUY TO WORK FOR AND HAVE AS A FRIEND. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ALL THE BEAUTIFUL PINS AND BROACHES HE GAME ME FOR BIRTHDAYS, AND SPECIAL HOLIDAYS. I STILL HAVE THEM. I ENJOYED EVERY DAY OF WORK WITH HIM. REMEMBER ALL THE TIMES HE TALKED ABOUT HIS GIRLS, HE LOVED YOU GIRLS SO MUCH. I HAD LEAVE SIKORSKY IN 1973 TO HAVE MY DAUGHTER, AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO STAY HOME WITH HER. FIVE YEARS LATER I HAD A SON...AND NOW I HAVE A 18 YEAR OLD AND 15 YEAR OLD GRANDSONS, AND A 12 YEAR OLD GRAND-DAUGHTER. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED. SO AGAIN, I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, HE WAS ONE THE TRUE GENTLEMAN IN THIS WORLD, AND LOVED WORKING ABOUT 7 YEARS WITH HIM. HE MADE MY JOB FUN, AND FUN TO GO TO WORK. SO -FRED-THANK YOU AND MAY GOD WATCH OVER YOUR FAMILY

Dear Debbie and Family: So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Tickey. I have very fond memories of him, especially the OLG girl's basketball team coach, as well as director of the many plays, particularly the Christmas Elf one. He was a very easy going, patient man, with and had a knack for working wonderfully with the youth, as well as making you feel so comfortable in your home. He was a good man. Prayers for you and your family at this difficult time.
