Obituary of Rose M. Farley

Rose M. Farley, age 94, of Trumbull, died peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on Monday, January 10, 2005. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Farley, Sr., who died in 1975. Born in New York City on December 2, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jospehine (Ciccotto) Salerno. Mrs. Farley and her husband were married on May 8, 1932 and lived in Queens, NY until they moved to Port Chester, NY in 1956. They owned and operated several businesses in Port Chester and Greenwich, CT, including a restaurant. They also resided in Riverside, CT before moving to the Trumbull area in 1969. She enjoyed sewing, reading and entertaining. Her greatest pleasure was to be with her family. She will be remembered for the loving and caring person that she was.

She is survived by three children, Charles E. Farley, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Conyers, GA, Patricia Morabito and her husband, James of Bethel, CT and Joseph F. Farley of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Brian F. Morabito and his wife, Raquel of Bethel, Jeffrey J. Morabito of Bristol, James F. Morabito of Bethel, Melissa Doyle and her husband, Richard of Shelton, Jennifer Farley of Florida, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Josephine Tabone of Babylon, NY and Helen Marsanico of Little Neck, NY, two brothers, Nicholas Salerno and Arthur Salerno, both of Beverly Hills, Fl and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Patricia and two sisters, Constance Kucich and Marie Molinari, both of Florida. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
