Obituary of Eva A. Emond

Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother Eva Antoinette Scinto Emond, age 74, of Stratford, died on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 21, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Lucia Paoletta Scinto. Mrs. Emond was an avid gardener, she also enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to dance. Eva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be sadly missed by all. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Joseph and a sister Gianni. Survivors include her devoted husband of 50 years, Roger Emond, five loving children, Michele Scott and her husband Steven of Stratford, Bruce Emond and his wife Tami of Norwalk, Laura Maturo and her husband Patrick of Seymour, Lisa Paola and her husband Tom of Middlebury, and Denise Emond of Stratford, a brother Frank Scinto of Florida, seven cherished grandchildren Alexa, Matthew, Marisa, Nora, Elizabeth, Danielle, Julia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
