Obituary of Mary L. Dragone

Mary L. Calandro Dragone, age 79, of Lake Worth, Florida, formerly of Trumbull, a partner with her daughter, Patricia Caruso, in the hairdressing business, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 in Florida. Born in Bridgeport on November 19, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Clementine DeFeo Calandro. Along with her late husband, Joseph Dragone, they owned and operated the former Pelton Motors of Bridgeport.

In addition to her husband, she was also pre-deceased by a son, Emmanuel Dragone and a daughter, Patricia Caruso. Survivors include two grandsons, Anthony Caruso and his wife, Elizabeth; Joseph Caruso and his wife, Alice, all of Florida, four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher, Joseph, and Brittany Caruso, a brother, Peter Calandro and his wife Josephine of Trumbull, a sister, Josephine Capinera of Monroe, and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will take place on Monday November 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
