Obituary of Giovanna Grippaldi

Giovanna Ladomorzi Grippaldi, age 85, of Stratford, CT and formerly of Point Pleasant, NJ, died on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Born in Campobasso, Italy on June 25, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Palladino Ladomorzi. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Fred B. Grippaldi. She enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time at the shore. Survivors include her sister, Carmella Vernuccio of Stratford, her nephew, Joseph Vernuccio of Stratford and her nephew and niece Joe and Roseanna Fusco of Point Pleasant, NJ and several family members in Italy. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT and at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
