Obituary of Elena M. Donofrio

Elena Discepolo Donofrio, age 92, of Trumbull, a homemaker, died on Sunday, January 13, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Riccio Discepolo. She was a past member of the St. Theresa Confraternity. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and aunt who loved to cook and entertain.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 67 years, Daniel J. Donofrio of Trumbull, a brother Joseph Discepolo of Alford, MA, devoted nieces, Michaelanne Discepolo, Joan Carol Mills, Laurie Macisco and her husband Albert and several additional nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Raymond Discepolo. 

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
