Obituary of Joseph A. Arsenault

Joseph A. Arsenault, age 73, a longtime resident of Trumbull entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2012 surrounded by his beloved wife Lourdes, son Joe, and stepdaughter Nancy. Mr. Arsenault was born to Josephine and Joseph Arsenault in Bridgeport CT where he attended school. Mr. Arsenault was a devoted employee of Moore Precision Tool and later Moore-Producto in Bridgeport where he retired as a section supervisor after more than 25 years of service. Joe was a talented tool and die maker who was committed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Mr. Arsenault supported and served for several years as a judge to VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) a group which connects educators and students with industry to enhance learning and growth in the trades. Mr. Arsenault also served in the National Guard reserves based in Stratford CT. Mr. Arsenault was an avid Corvette and car enthusiast and spent many fun-filled days enjoying car shows and drag racing events. Mr. Arsenault was highly considered by all who knew him. A good listener, a kind smile and a gentle and caring way made him loved by all who called him Joe. A man who put all others above himself and gave so much. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Lourdes, daughter Nancy Bento and her boyfriend Mark Vendetto. He is also survived by his son Joe Arsenault and wife Cindy and his beloved grandson Brandon. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, Gloriana, Kenny, Weston and Tanner Tardie, as well as several additional nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother in-law Maria Jose and brothers in-law Jorge Dias and Mike Discko, Peter Carbone & sister-in-law Andrea Borgognone. Joe is pre-deceased by his first wife Cecelia, sister in-law Gloria Carbone, sister Shirley, mother Josephine and father Joseph. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull . Friends and family may call on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
