Obituary of Peter J. DiVizio

January 24, 2007 Loving, Devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather Peter J. DiVizio of Trumbull, a retired employee of General Reinsurance Corp., with over 25 years of service, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna Dubinelli DiVizio and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Loretta Diodati DiVizio, three cherished daughters, Laura Garcia and her husband, Angel of Trumbull, Melissa DeGeorge and her husband, Tom of North Haven and Madeline Laverty and her husband, John of Trumbull, three sisters, Adeline Coppola of Mount Vernon, New York, Norma Primerano of Fairfield and Florence Girard of Fairfield, seven grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Jordan, Emily, Sarah, Crista and Julia as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Dr.,Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
