Obituary of Clara Arpaia

Resident of Monroe Clara Tropeano Arpaia, age 77, of Monroe, a retired employee for the U. S. Postal Service, died on Thursday, May 28, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Roxbury, MA on October 13, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Carmine Tropeano and Mary Tucci Tropeano. Survivors include two daughters Lisa Arpaia and her husband David Krett, Jr. and Gina Reiners and her husband Peter of Cheshire, a son Robert Arpaia of Meriden, two brothers Patrick Tropeano of Wallingford and Vincent Cantelmi of Florida, three grandchildren, Peter Reiners Jr., Mary Reiners and Alexandra Arpaia, a great granddaughter, Bridget Reiners, her former spouse Frederick Arpaia and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three brothers George, Carmen and Frank Tropeano. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
