Obituary of Marilyn Dineley

Beautiful wife, incredible mother and perfect grandmother. Marilyn Dineley, age 75, of Trumbull, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Florence Scharf. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Dineley, a son Stephen Dineley and his wife Johnna of Trumbull, two daughters Christine Dineley of Trumbull, and Sharon Garofano and her husband Gary of Charlestown RI, four cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Alexandra Garofano, and Stevi and Joseph Dineley, a brother, Thomas Scharf and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister Barbara Poulsen. Marilyn fought a most courageous and brave battle with cancer for over 30 years. She was a beautiful wife, incredible mother and perfect grandmother. Marilyn will be most remembered for her loving way, kind heart and devotion. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Oncology Associates of Bridgeport and the Norma F. Pfriem Cancer Center in Fairfield. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
