Obituary of Rosa DiCocco

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Rosa Creo DiCocco, age 71, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Nicola DiCocco died peacefully on Tuesday September 28, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center after a long battle with kidney disease. Born in Minturno, Province of Lazio, Italy on October 7, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Paqualina DeNitto Creo. Rosa was a strong willed and loving wife, mother and grandmother who will always be remembered for her courageous fight and her strong will. In addition to her beloved husband, Nicola, survivors include her two loving children, Phyllis Millo and her husband John of Monroe and Anthony P. DiCocco and his wife Rose Marie of Shelton, three cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Johnny and Nicholas, three brothers, Mario Creo and his wife Antoinette of Bridgeport, Ralph Creo and his wife Faustina of Bridgeport and Filipe Creo of Minturno Italy, a sister Immaculata Reppas and her husband Gregory of Bridgeport, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Francesca Ciarnella. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday October1, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
