Obituary of Lorenzo DiCocco
Lorenzo DiCocco, age 86, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Rosalia Frisone DiCocco, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Frosinone, Italy on May 17, 1927, he was a son of the late Antonio and Pamela DiCocco. He was a Masons Assistant for E & F Construction for over 33 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Bridgeport Boys Club where he enjoyed playing Bocce. He spent most of his leisure time working on his home and gardens. His house mirrored a Mediterranean environment with lush fruits and gardens adorning it. His generosity with his abundant fruits and vegetables will be missed by his many close friends and neighbors. Survivors include a son, Anthony DiCocco and his wife Amy of Stratford and Lorenzo DiCocco and his wife Maria of Baltimore, MD, five grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Christopher, Julianne, Jessica and Daniel DiCocco, a brother, Paolo DiCocco and his wife Filomena of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Filomena DiCocco. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information
