Obituary of Rose Migliore Gresavage

Rose Migliore Gresavage passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Rose was born in Bridgeport on December 19, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Angelina (Pasquariello) Migliore and had been a lifelong area resident and graduate of Central High School.

She was the widow of her life long love Stanley Gresavage who preceded her in death on February 25, 1986; they are now together again.

Rose leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter, Lou Ann Torres and her husband, John, her son, Michael Stanley Gresavage and his fiancee, Joanne Nelson, her grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephanie and Blake Torres, Ryan and Taylor Gresavage. Rose is also survived by her sisters, Mary Laezzo, Clementina Suffredini, Celia Maiocco and Jenny Fitzpatrick. Her brothers, Peter and Joseph Migliore, a sister, Antoinette Mizzoni and nephew, John Migliore preceded her in death. Roses memory will also be cherished by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
