Obituary of Eileen Muriel Green

Eileen Muriel Neill Green, age 82, of Southport, beloved wife of Colin Green, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Coventry, England on October 11, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Edith Dudley Neill. She was a retired Aerospace Engineer working in England from 1946-1960 at a time when very few women were involved in the field. She immigrated to the United States with Colin and her children in 1967, and became a U. S. citizen in 1973. The family lived in Trumbull for 18 years, during which time she was an active member of the PTA and the Trumbull FISH. In addition to her husband of 59 years, survivors include two children, Ann Green of Trumbull and Ian Green and his wife, Yvette Davie of Alpharetta, GA, a brother Captain Dudley Neill of Auckland, New Zealand and two grandchildren, Spencer and Chandler Green. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Trinity Episcopal Church, 1734 Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
