Obituary of Josephine Ann DeLucia

Josephine Ann Martino DeLucia, age 68, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Hazelton, PA on September 9, 1942, she was a daughter of Mary Biacco Martino of Stratford and the late Nadzar. Mrs. DeLucia was an avid bingo player and a volunteer for Swim Across the Sound.

In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Dawn DeLucia and her significant other, Alex Bauco of Stratford and Christine Allan and her husband Raymond of Stratford, two grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Allan, a sister Mary Caporaso and her husband Thomas of Monroe, two brothers, John Martino and his wife Carol of Cheshire and Ned Martino and his wife Suzanne of Stratford, a brother in law Gary Moher of Stratford as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Gloria Moher. 

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5- 7 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford. Committal services will be private.
