Obituary of Sandra A. Dattolo

Shelton Resident Sandra A. Doucette Dattolo, age 56, of Shelton, beloved wife of 25 years of Thomas J. Dattolo, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born August 29, 1951 in Winchendon, MA, a daughter of the late Francis L. and Lorraine (Lafond) Doucette. She traveled to Alaska, Hawaii and Kentucky eventually settling in Connecticut with her husband Tom. Sandys great love was reading. She also enjoyed sewing for her children and grandchildren. Sandy loved to joke and had an amazing sense of humor. She was a jeweler for many years and most recently worked for Belden Jewelers. She received an Associates in Science in 1998 from Naugatuck Community College and was a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member, and was very close to completing a Bachelors Degree in Human Services. A daughter, Nicole Rose Dattolo pre-deceased her in 1987. In addition to her husband, survivors include four children, Robert Field, John Field III and his wife Jennifer, Teresa Field Fuller and Thomas Dattolo II, a brother, Francis Doucette of Gardner, MA, two sisters, Theresa Dattolo and her husband Donald of Gardner, MA and Joan Schuttler and her husband Thomas of Minneota, MN, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A prayer service will take place on Monday June 9, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects on Monday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
