Obituary of Rachel D'Amico

Resident of Bridgeport Rachel Leonetti DAmico, age 77, of Bridgeport, a retired pharmacy technician for Rite Aid Drug Store, died peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Antoinette Nappi Leonetti. Mrs. DAmico was the Vice President for the St. Frances Cabrini Columbiettes and was a past President of the A.A.R.P., Bridgeport and enjoyed playing bingo. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph DAmico and two brothers, Salvatore and Phil Leonetti. Survivors include her four children, Joseph DAmico and his wife Andrea of Stratford, Paul DAmico of Bridgeport, Annette Rogers and her husband Patrick of Northford and Marlene Esposito and her husband Charles of Trumbull, three brothers, Sandolo Leonetti of Ohio, Steven Leonetti of Orange and Joseph Leonetti of Bridgeport, a sister, Caroline Mazzabuffi of Shelton, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, she is also survived by two aunts, nieces and nephews and many couins and dear friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses of 7 East at St. Vincent Medical Center and Dr. Berard and his staff. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:15 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
