Obituary of Delores K. Cusano

Shelton Resident Delores K. Ogrowski Cusano, age 75, of Shelton, wife of the late Anthony Cusano, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Vincents Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born on June 19, 1935 in Dickson City, PA, she was the daughter of Helen Homitz Ogrowski of Shelton and the late Anthony Ogrowski. Delores was a retired medical secretary at St. Josephs Manor, Trumbull with 25 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City and was a very giving person, who was always willing to help the various charities. Her true love and enjoyment was the time spent with her family, especially her adoring grandchildren. In addition to her mother Helen, survivors include three children, John Horahan and his wife Susan of Shelton, Dawn Horahan of Derby and Helen Solotruk and her husband Mark of Shelton, five grandchildren, Alexandra and John Horahan, Sherrie and Kimberly Ostrich and Jessica Solotruk, a great granddaughter, Daphney Pate and a nephew Todd Twiss of PA. She was pre-deceased by her sister Louise Twiss. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave, Shelton, on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
