Obituary of Stephen Earl Cunningham

Resident of Fairfield Stephen Earl Cunningham, age 63, of Fairfield died on Monday, March 26, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Richard and Rosalyn Cunningham; and graduated from Columbus Central H.S. and Ohio State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Risk and Insurance. He moved to Trumbull, CT in 1978 and Fairfield in 1987. He worked for over 42 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He was an avid golfer and loved playing Quarters with his golfing buddies at Smith-Richardson. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 43 years, Gerry, daughter of Gene and Peggy Shoemaker; a son, Tim Cunningham and companion, Lisa Moholt of Redding; a daughter Kristy Abeele and companion, Peter Hawes of Waterloo, Ontario; a sister Pat (Joe) Asher; sister-in-law Ann (Lew) Rakocy; brother-in-law Charlie (Diane) Shoemaker and four adorable and above average grandchildren: Michael, Kaitlin, Ryan and Erin; many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. He was blessed with the love and respect of all those whose lives he touched, he will be missed and forever and always remain in our hearts. Life is uncertain but spirit is not. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
