Obituary of Virgil James Cronk

Virgil James Cronk, age 91, of North Carolina, formerly of Stratford, a retired mechanic for the State of Connecticut, died on October 18, 2005. Born in Stratford on July 6, 1914, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Martha Lane Cronk and the husband of the late Mary Robertson Cronk. Mr. Cronk was also a professional chauffeur for the Noyes Family.

Survivors include two children, Robert James Cronk and his wife, Arlene of Derby and Joan Beauchemin and her husband, Clifford of Gaston, North Carolina, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning after 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
