Obituary of Regina Cremin

August 30, 2008 Stratford Resident Regina Paola Cremin, age 61, of Stratford, beloved wife of Joseph D. Cremin, died on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Mid State Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Esther Marchetti Paola, and was a member of the Central High School Class of 1964. Always proud of her Bridgeport roots, Mrs. Cremin worked over 26 years as an IRS tax compliance officer where her duties took her to many parts of the country. She worked diligently and received many IRS achievement awards. She was a member the Altar Guild of St. Raphael /St. Margaret and volunteered at the St. Anthony Festival. She was also a volunteer for Swim Across the Sound and enjoyed bowling. She was a second mother for Joseph, Keith, Michael, Toni and Bethann. In addition to her husband Joseph, Regina is survived by her brother, Joseph Paola and his wife Susan of Redding, three sisters, Annette Braca and her husband Joseph of Shelton, Judy Jubyna and her husband Ron of Shelton and Nancy Medina and her husband Max Jr. of Bridgeport and many godchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. She was proud to be an expectant grandmother ( Jacob). She was predeceased by two of her dearest friends, Carol Gabriel and Carol Murzin. The family would like to express its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ben Weisman, the doctors and staffs of the St. Vincent Medical Centers ICU, 9th Floor and Emergency Room as well as Gaylord Hospital for the loving care they provided. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September, 4, 2008 at 10 AM meeting directly in St. Margarets Shrine Chapel, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
