Obituary of David J. Chupcavich

David J. Chupcavich, age 55, of Bridgeport, a former Emergency Service Director for the American Red Cross, died suddenly on Monday, March 9, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on June 20, 1953, he was a son of the late Joseph and Agnes Kotch Chupcavich. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #177.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Kuian Chupcavich, a daughter Dawn Paul and her husband Rob of Milford and a son David Chupcavich Jr. and his wife Andrea of Orange, a stepson, Shaun Garrison of Shelton and a stepdaughter Melissa Kuian of Bridgeport, his brother-in-law Frank Witt of Trumbull, two granddaughters, Alana and Gianna and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a sister Mary Ann Witt. 

Friends can greet the family on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
