Obituary of Louis F. Cennamo

U. S. Army Veteran of World War II Louis (Luigi) F. Cennamo, age 83, of Trumbull, a retired comptroller for Voccola Plumbing, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in North Haven and raised in Bridgeport from the age of 2, he was a son of the late Luigi and Catarina Terreciano Cennamo. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a staff sergeant assigned to the 133rd General Hospital in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre. He attended Columbus Elementary School and graduated from Central High School He took pride in his Italian heritage and the lifestyle of the Italian family. He enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years with Anna, his beloved wife. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anna Prokop Cennamo, a brother, Phillip Cennamo and his wife, Rose, a sister-in-law, Carmen Cennamo, all of Trumbull, a special nephew, Louis J. Cennamo and many additional nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers and sisters, Mary Dechello, Jack Cennamo, Patsy Cennamo, Joseph Cennamo, Rose Sessa, Eleanor Siciliano and Sabatini Cennamo. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
