Obituary of Theodore F. Giovanni

Retired Metallurgist Theodore F. Giovanni, age 86, of Fairfield, beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Cino Giovanni, died on November 24, 2006, in St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Archbald, PA on December 11, 1919 he was a son of the late Basilio and Letetia Mideli Giovannini. Mr. Giovanni was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII before becoming a metallurgist at AVCO Lycoming and retiring from Bridgeport Testing Laboratory. He was a volunteer for many years with St. Vincent Medical Center Swim Across the Sound. In addition to his wife he leaves two sons, Robert Giovanni and his wife Maryanne of Trumbull, and Raymond Giovanni and his wife Michele of Monroe; a sister, Ida Coleman of Archbald, PA; four grandchildren, Dana, Robert, Anthony, Lauren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
