Obituary of Eleanor Carbone

Trumbull Resident Eleanor Grauzlis Carbone, age 91, of Trumbull, the beloved wife of the late Louis Carbone, entered into rest on Saturday, February 10, 2007. Born on February 21, 1915, she was an area resident most of her life. She was a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Carbone was a member of the Trumbull Womens Club, the Friendship Club of St. Catherine of Siena Church, the Italian Community Club, the Ella Grasso Auxiliary, the Trumbull Senior Community Center and the League of St. Josephs Manor. Her life was filled with love, compassion and joy. Her greatest pleasure in life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Survivors include her beloved children, Carolyn Hanes and her husband, Thomas of Trumbull, David Carbone and his wife, Anita of Merritt Island, FL, William Carbone and his wife, Grace of Winter Park, FL and Mark Carbone and his wife, Tracie of Cupertino, CA, her loving cherished grandchildren, Christianne Hanes of Trumbull, Jonathan Hanes of Buford, GA, Leigh Anne Gineo and her husband, Mark of Sarasota, FL, Jared Carbone of Mountainview, CA, Sarah Miklulscak of Sarasota, FL, Kristin Carbone of Chatham, MA, Christopher and Cecelia Carbone of Cupertino, CA and her cherished loving great grandchild, Nikolas Miklulscak of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by a brother, Paul Grauzlis and his wife, Claire of Delaware, sister-in-law, Anita Pierini and her husband, Frederick of Bridgeport, a brother-in-law, William and his wife, Katherine of Florida, sister-in-law, Katherine Carbone of Bridgeport, sister-in-law, Eleanor Lampart and her husband, Steve and several nieces and nephews. She had a positive influence on every life she touched and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
