Obituary of Biagina Caramanica

June 30, 2007 Resident of Stratford Biagina Jean Freni Caramanica, age 87, of Stratford, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Born on a ship from Italy entering Sandy Hook, New York, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Frances Freni. She lived in New York for many years where she met and married her late husband Pasquale Caramanica of 38 years who would become the everlasting love of her life. Jean worked for W. T. Grants for many years and was a parishioner of St. James Church and was one of the founding members of the Kennedy Center. She is survived by a daughter, Concetta Dolly Peters and her husband Richard, a son, Richard Caramanica and his wife Patricia, daughter in law Diane Caramanica, five grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Patsy Caramanica, Michele Bullock and her husband Keith, Dominique Caramanica and his wife Chrissy and Jazmine Caramanica, four great grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Caramanica, Trinity Lynn Bullock, Alyssa Lynn and Bella Mia Caramanica, her devoted sister, Domenica Minnie Witkowski and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sons, Peter and Dominic Caramanica. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 9:30 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 am in St James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
