Obituary of Inacia DeJesus Alves

Loving Mother Inacia DeJesus Dias Alves, age 91, of Oxford, died peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2010 in Maefair Health Care Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Silva, Carrezedo, Portugal on October 20, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Dias and Emilia Rodrigues. She relocated to Bridgeport, CT in 1967 from Portugal to give her family a better life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 47 years Guilherme Alves and a daughter Isabel. Survivors include her seven children Gina Forcier and her husband Gene of Oxford, Fernanda Moutinho of Monroe, Jose Alves of Beacon Falls, Fernando Alves and his wife Ana Maria of Florida, Antonio Alves and his wife Lisa of Trumbull, Carlos Alves and his wife Diane of Huntington and Mario Jorge Alves of Bridgeport, eleven cherished grandchildren, Cindy, Christy, Erika, Ryan, Jose Jr., Joshua, Leana, Marissa, Toni, Justin, and Melissa, three great grandchildren, Kaydan, Cameron and Finnley and a special niece Lina Dias of Bridgeport. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 9:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
