Obituary of Carole Ann Capozzi

Resident of Bridgeport Carole Ann Weber Capozzi, age 65, of Bridgeport and formerly of Stratford, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at her daughters home. Born in Bridgeport on May 8, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Caroline Wheway Weber. She was a graduate of the Bunnell High School Class of 1962. Carole was a loving and giving person whose heart and home were always open to family and friends. She always had a place at her table for all and no one could ever say they left her home without a wonderful meal. Her house was always filled for the holidays; she enjoyed baking for the holidays, decorating for the Christmas season and was always prepared for company. Carole was very involved in the community prayer groups and would always have a candle lit and say a prayer for a friend or someone in need. She always had a kind word and a shoulder to cry on for someone in need. She was the worlds best mother always putting the needs of her family and children before her own. She enjoyed spending time in her garden but truly took great joy strolling along the beach looking for sea shells with the joys of her life, her grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Carole was pre-deceased by a daughter Teisha Marie OLeary. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 45 years, Louis F. Capozzi Sr., two loving children, a son, Louis F. Capozzi Jr. and his wife Daniela of Bridgeport, her daughter and best friend Melissa Casey and her husband Gerald of Shelton, a son-in-law Dr. Shaun OLeary of Chicago, five cherished grandchildren, Riley, Nolan, Keegan, Bianca and Ava, brothers, Fred Weber of East Haven, Robert Weber and his wife Priscilla of Shelton, Wayne Weber and his companion Janet Zega of East Haven, Scott Weber and his wife Luanne of PA, sisters-in-law Pam Weber Kopko and her husband Michael of MA, Joy Koch and her husband John of Derby, mother-in-law Anna Capozzi DeFelice as well as several nieces and nephews. Carole would not want you to mourn her death but to celebrate her life with her heart beating whole again with the reunion with her daughter Teisha. The family would like to thank Dr. Dressler and his assistant Allison and the entire staff of Medical Specialists of Fairfield and Dr. Charles Neiditz for their care and compassion, as well as all of her friends throughout her life and her new friends that she met throughout her illness.
