Obituary of Lena Capodagli

Lena Capodagli, age 89, of Stern Village, Trumbull, a retired quality control inspector for Warnaco, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 31, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Bernardo and Maria Sanchione Capodagli. She was a member of the Warnaco Retirees Club and the Marchegiana Ladies Auxiliary.

She was the beloved aunt of Phyllis and Leonard Crone of Stratford. Other survivors include dear friend, Caroline Pelli of Bridgeport, a special cousin, Vinnie Berardi, nephews, Roldo and Thomas Bartimole, James and Joseph Faroni, Anthony and Bernard Capodagli, niece Diane Banaldo, grandnieces and nephews, Lenny Crone and his wife, Kelly, Mary Lee Zysk and her husband, Craig, Cathy Rattanni and her husband David, Christine DeVellis and her husband, Joseph, Nancy Bowden and her husband, Christopher and Gary Crone and his wife, Monica and numerous great great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony Capodagli and four sisters, Sylvia Palmucci, Helen Faroni, Florence Faroni and Bernice Bartimole.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
