Obituary of Lisa J. Canuel

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident CANUEL Lisa J. Monaco Canuel, age 78, of Bridgeport, died on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 16, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Louise Mastroianni Monaco and was a lifelong city resident. Mrs. Canuel was a devote parishioner of St. Margaret Shrine and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles G. Canuel, a brother; Arcangelo Ciarmella, a sister; Mary Fitzgerald and a son-in-law; Guy Mason. Survivors include a sister, Rose Mastrone of Hebron, her four children, Anthony Canuel and his wife Maryellen of Fairfield, Ronald Canuel and his wife Jessie of Trumbull, Diane Canuel and her companion Timothy Marcoux of Alexander, ME, Deborah Forte and her husband John of Milford, NH and a daughter-in-law; Jean Canuel of Bridgeport. She also leaves six cherished grandchildren, Tony, Andrea, and Gregory Canuel and Larissa, Melanie and John Forte Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St Margaret Shrine for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
