Obituary of Mary G. Gillespy

Resident of Shelton Mary Larson Gillespy, age 42, of Shelton, a project accountant for the Whiting Turner Contracting Company of New Haven with 12 years of service, died at her home on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Born in Bridgeport on March 10, 1965, she was a daughter of Gay Reichardt Larson of Shelton and the late Albert Larson. Mary was raised in Bridgeport and had been a Shelton resident for the past 16 years. She graduated from Notre Dame High School and the Connecticut Business Institute. Mary coached Shelton Pop Warner Cheerleading and was a past member of the Board of Directors. She volunteered with Shelton Little League and enjoyed quilting and making crafts. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Thomas G. Gillespy, her twin children, Matthew and Sarah Gillespy, two brothers, Darryl Larson and his wife Lynn of West Wardsboro, Vermont and Albert Larson and his wife Linda of Bend, Oregon, sister-in-law, Desiree Ferron and her husband Lucien of West Haven, her fathers-in-law, Richard Gillespy and Robert Marshall, six nieces and nephews, Stephanie and Cody Larson, Elle and Al Larson and Casey and Anastagia Ferron, her special uncle, Edmund and several additional uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and staff of Bridgeport Oncology Associates, Bridgeport Surgical Associates, VNS Hospice and the Norma F. Pfriem Cancer Center for the kind and compassionate care which was extended to Mary. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
