Obituary of Rose Butera

Rose Butera, age 83, of Hartford, a retired employee for Aetna Life Insurance Co. with over 30 years of service, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at her residence. Born in Fairfield, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Emilia Meliga Butera. Survivors include three sisters, Frances Wilson of Fairfield, Mary Decker of California and Ann Donato of Florida, four nephews, George Wilson Jr. of Bridgeport, Thomas Wilson of Florida, Louis Butera Jr. and Robert Butera, both of Alaska, two nieces, Nancy Bragulat of Bridgeport and Carol Vecchione of Stratford, a devoted cousin, Ann Quinlan of Massachusetts, several great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Louis Butera Sr., a nephew, Gary Wilson and a niece, Emily Corazzelli. 

Private family funeral services were conducted by the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment was in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
