Obituary of Eleanor A. Zysk

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Eleanor Dushugian Zysk, age 90, of Bridgeport, a retired hairdresser, died at her residence on Monday, December 1, 2008. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Hagop and Almas Yaghubian Dushugian, and was a life long city resident. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and church were most important to her. Mrs. Zysk was a dedicated member of the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension and served her church in many capacities including the Ladies Guild, Choir, Church Bazaar and Sunday School for over 70 years. Survivors included her husband of 51 years, Stanley Zysk, two sons, Craig Zysk and his wife Marylee of Shelton and their children, Jason, Jennifer, Craig and Brian Zysk and his wife Elaine of Monroe and their son, Zachary, a sister, Grace DeYoung of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Marion Cappello, Shirley Kernicky and Rose Arbas. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be fondly remembered by all. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, Trumbull with Rev. Untzag Nalbandian officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. A wake service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
