Obituary of Lorraine Zacchia

Bridgeport Resident Lorraine Scoppe Zacchia, age 77, of Bridgeport, a retired secretary for the City of Bridgeport Police Department, died on Friday, May 4, 2007 at Bridgeport Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bertrand Scoppe. Lorraine was an avid golfer, and had been employed at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course. She always gave of herself to help others. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Scoppe. Survivors include her loving children, Richard Zacchia and his wife Constance of Stratford, Joseph Zacchia of Branford, Pamela Pinto of Fairfield and Patricia Masanotti of Bridgeport, five grandchildren Richard, Lindsay, Liza, John and Megan, a great grandson, David and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
