Obituary of Theresa Roberti Bruno

Retired chief inspector for Avco Textron Lycoming. Theresa Roberti Bruno, age 87, of Stratford, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on January 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Scalzi Roberti. Mrs. Bruno was a retired chief inspector for Avco Textron Lycoming with 35 years of service. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and her East Side values, but most of all she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her loving husband Carmen P. (Nuchie) Bruno, three sisters, Genevieve Voccola, Lucille Cyr, Marian Sopko and a brother Fred Roberts. Survivors include her children, three sons, Jack Bruno and his wife Carol, Charles Bruno and his wife Phyllis, Kenneth Bruno and his wife Sandra and a daughter, Agnes Bruno all of Stratford, seven grandchildren, Kim Ruggiero and her husband Jeff, Karen Shepard and her husband Pete, Robyn Weishauser and her husband William, Craig Bruno and his wife Eileen, Kenneth Bruno II, Tami Bruno and Jill Sarno and her husband John, ten great grandchildren, Madeline, Vincent, Joe, Anthony, Krissy, Nicholas, Jennie, Mary Grace, Marissa, and Christine, as well as many devoted cousins and nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford on Thursday October 9, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements by Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
