Obituary of Lucy F. Weiner

Lucy Frances Ryder Weiner, age 91, of Trumbull passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Middlebrook Farms. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond G. Weiner. Born in New York City, NY, on November 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy McGlynn Ryder. A US Army Veteran of World War II, she was very proud to have served her country. Lucy had found great enjoyment traveling with her late husband and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children, Robert R. Weiner of Southbury, Raymond Weiner of Milford and Cecilia Augustine and her husband Daniel of Manassas, VA, her eight cherished grandchildren, Raymond N. Weiner, Marilyn Day, Christopher Weiner, Greg Weiner, Meghan Jones, Daniel Augustine, Rachel Potter and Charles Augustine, and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and John Ryder. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
