Obituary of Beverly Ann Ward

Bridgeport Resident Beverly Ann Ward, age 77, of Bridgeport, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Ma as she was affectionately called was born on August 13, 1929 on Indian Island, Old Town, Maine to Irene and John Lewey of the Penobscot Nation. Beverly was a resident of this city for over 55 years. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Marvis Rooter, Eunice Crowley and Francine Murphy, one brother, Leroy Lewey, her husband, Edward Ward, three sons, John B. Ostravage, Jr., Paul D. Ostravage and Michael Ostravage and one daughter, Eileen T. Price. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Edward M. Ward and Daniel Ostravage, eight daughters, Ann Beverly Burauskas, Carol M. Almeida, Joyce Ballaban, Linda Ostravage, Debra Ostravage, Yvonne Rogers, Gail M. Diaz and Joyce Ward, 25 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
