Obituary of Ana Calvao Vitorino

Loving Mother & Grandmother Ana Calvao Vitorino, age 83, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joaquim Vitorino, passed away on Monday April 16, 2012, at St. Vincents Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Anelhe, Portugal on July 23, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Anibal Cristovao Calvao and Alice Vitorino. Before her retirement she was employed at Dooney and Bourke for many years. Ana enjoyed gardening in her yard and traveling every year to her hometown in Portugal, but most of all she truly loved her time spent with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Survivors include four loving children, two sons, Joao C. Vitorino of Shelton, Tiago C. Vitorino and his wife Laura of Trumbull, two daughters, Ana Barreira and her husband Fernando of Shelton, Maria Fatima Gomes and her husband Luis of Shelton, two brothers, Joaquim and Manuel Vitorino both of Brazil, ten cherished grandchildren, Cristina, Jimmy, Chris, Matt, Alex, Danny, Andy, Nando, Allison and Luie, three great grandchildren, Alexa, Justin and Joseph as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in Anelhe, Portugal.
