Obituary of Edward A. Visponi

Edward A. Visponi, age 69, of Shelton, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport, on November 22, 1942, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Rose Iannarone Visponi. Mr. Visponi was the owner and operator of the Auto Hut, where he had worked as a mechanic for many years and later worked for Mark IV Construction until his retirement in 2005. He is survived by his three daughters, Deana Visponi of Naugatuck, Sheri DeAndrea and her husband Chris of Trumbull, and Lisa Moutinho and her husband Chris, also of Trumbull, ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephen and Lauren Pellino, Natalie, Christopher and Dominick DeAndrea, and Michael, Marisa, Anthony and Vanessa Moutinho. He is also survived by his former wife Diane Boros. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Geraldine Abbati. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 pm.
