Obituary of William Vincenzi
William Vincenzi, age 69, of Bridgeport, a former builder, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2005 in Mid State Medical Center, Meriden with his family by his side. Born in Strangolagalli, Province of Frosinone, Italy on June 25, 1935, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Angela Lisi Vincenzi, and has been a Bridgeport resident since 1955. Mr. Vincenzi was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #210, the Circolo Sportivo Italo Americano Club and also enjoyed traveling to Italy and Florida and spending time in his garden.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Perry Vincenzi.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Adriana Sementilli Vincenzi, two devoted children, a daughter, Angela Baril and her husband Richard of Monroe, a son, William Vincenzi Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Cromwell, a sister, Gina Mollica of Italy, four cherished grandchildren Jessica, Jackie, Michaela and Joseph, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Raphael Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
