Obituary of Joseph C. Feeley

Resident of Fairfield Joseph C. Feeley, age 84, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late June Berin Feeley, died peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, New York on October 16, 1925, he was a son of the late Patrick and Mary Neary Feeley. He was a retired administrative director for Cummings and Lockwood with 25 years of service, and a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Feeley earned a bachelors degree from St. Johns University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Later in life he studied Irish and Gaelic history at Fairfield University. He was pre-deceased by a grandson Joseph Berin Feeley. Survivors include four children, Marc Feeley and his wife Joan of Shelton, Christopher Feeley and his wife Diane of Trumbull, Maris Bogan and her husband Chris of Trumbull, and Craig Feeley and his wife Lisa of Indiana, seven grandchildren, Kate, Tim, Maris and Kara Feeley and Michael, Gregory and Brendan Bogan, two brothers, Bernard Feeley and his wife Margie of Maple Shade, NJ and Kenneth Feeley and his wife Mary Lou of Massapequa Park, NY as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
