Obituary of Theresa Braca Giannetta

Bookkeeper at the Connecticut Post Newspaper Theresa Braca Giannetta, age 81, of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 5, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena Donofri Braca. Before her retirement, Mrs. Giannetta was first employed at W.T. Grant as an office manager and later was a bookkeeper at the Connecticut Post Newspaper. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Las Vegas and Bermuda and bus trips to the casino with her friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo Ralph Giannetta and daughter Pamela Giannetta, two sisters; Carmella Capodagli, Antoinette Marella and two brothers; Michael John Braca. Survivors include many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews as well as several friends and neighbors. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
