Obituary of Teresa Vallelunga

Resident of Oxford Teresa (Primerano) Vallelunga, age 79, a homemaker, of Oxford and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her daughters residence. Born in Serra San Bruno, Province of Catanzaro, Italy on November 20, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Grazia (Pisani) Primerano. Cooking and baking for her family, especially her grandchildren was her love. She also enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and most recently playing bingo. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Joseph Vallelunga and her dear sister Gina Vallelunga. Survivors include two daughters, Carmella Vallelunga and Grace Konopka and her husband Henry, all of Oxford and three grandchildren, Michael Konopka and his wife Vicki, Danielle and Lisa Konopka and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
