Obituary of Peter P. Urban

Retired owner of Peter & Sons Store Peter P. Urban Jr., age 83, of Milford, the retired owner and operator of Peter and Sons Store, formerly of Long Hill and Stratford, died on Thursday, March 10, 2005 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Haven. Born in Milford, he was from a family of 13, and a son of the late Peter and Stella Winchkiewicz Urban . He was a WWll U. S. Army veteran, and had lived in Monroe over 35 years and then retired to Milford. Mr Urban was a member and past Master of America-St. Johns Lodge No. 8 A.F. & A.M. of Stratford, a member of the Lafayette Consistory and a past Shriner. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Wanda Radozycki Urban, and a son, Ronald Urban. Survivors include five sons, Samuel Urban and his wife, Constance of Newtown, Lawrence Urban of Newtown, Kenneth Urban and his wife Doris of Monroe, Gregory Urban and his wife, Dianne of Stratford, David Urban and his wife Doreen of Stratford, a daughter, Cecelia Urban of Newtown, his companion, Adrienne J. Lund of Milford, a brother, Joseph Urban of Land O Lakes, FL, three sisters, Helen Potkay of Trumbull, Joy Rooy of St. Augustine, FL, and Elizabeth Long of Trenton, NJ, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 10 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 -7 p.m.
